Rebecca Copans

 Rebecca Copans is the Special Projects Manager at the McClure Foundation, with a focus on supporting high-leverage opportunities to improve Vermont’s college continuation rates among students furthest from opportunity. Rebecca has a background in strategic communications and government affairs, taking deep dives into health policy and the systemic workforce impacts of childcare. Beginning her postsecondary education journey at community college, she understands that at a time when young people are questioning their futures, and at a time when Vermont needs their talent, we must remove barriers and meet youth where they are so they can land a promising job. Rebecca holds degrees from the University of Vermont and Dartmouth College. She lives in Montpelier with her husband and three children.
